STAREP has a carrier mounted drilling rig CABOT 900. This rig was completely refurbished and then inspected by Moduspec in 2008.
The CABOT 900 requires a smaller location than many rigs of similar capacity thereby saving on site preparation cost.
In addition, the mobilization cost of the CABOT 900 is by far less expensive than similar rigs.
The rig can be leased to oil companies and operated by drilling contractors, or leased to drilling contractors with or without drilling crew. The rig can be leased in Tunisia or abroad. |
